A man was rushed to the hospital after he was pulled from a lake at Magic Johnson Park in Willowbrook.
Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the area with its dive team around 12:40 p.m. following a report that a man jumped into the lake but did not emerge.
At 2 p.m., fire officials tweeted that the man was recovered “in critical condition” and was being taken to a local hospital.
