A 38-year-old man was wounded during a drive-by shooting Wednesday morning in South Los Angeles, authorities said.
Paramedics rushed the man to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police said the victim walked up to a civilian at about 6:50 a.m. in the area of 66th Street and Vermont Avenue and asked the person to call police and report that he had just been wounded in a drive-by shooting.
