RESEDA (CNS) - A man exiting his parked vehicle was struck and killed by a hit-and-run SUV in Reseda, authorities said Saturday.

The deadly accident occurred at about 8 p.m. Friday on Victory Boulevard near Belmar Avenue, a few blocks west of Tampa Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim had just exited the driver side of his parked vehicle when a black, compact SUV going westbound on Victory veered to the right and struck him. The SUV continued west on Victory before turning north onto Corbin Avenue, police said.
Arriving paramedics pronounced the victim, a man in his 30s, dead at the scene.
