Man killed in Hollywood Hills house fire

A man was discovered dead as firefighters battled a blaze at a two-story hillside house in the Hollywood Hills Wednesday.

The fire was extinguished in 33 minutes, with 45 firefighters responding to the 8500 block of Lookout Mountain Avenue around 4:40 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

It was unclear what may have sparked the fire, and the cause was under investigation.

``During fire attack, one person was discovered deceased and remains at the scene," the fire department said in a statement.

The name of the victim was being withheld, pending notification of relatives.
