Police on Thursday are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash in Mission Hills.
About 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, a black Chevrolet truck was westbound on Rinaldi Street near Sepulveda Boulevard when it struck a man crossing outside a marked crosswalk, according to an LAPD news statement. The truck continued westbound on Rinaldi.
Paremedics rushed the man to a hospital, where he died from his injuries. He was described as 30 to 40 years old.

Anyone with any information regarding the crash was urged to call LAPD Valley Traffic Division detectives at 818-644-802 or during non-business hours or weekends at 877-527-3247.
