A 23-year-old man was killed in a collision with another driver in Sun Valley, authorities said Wednesday.
The collision was reported at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday in the 6700 block of Lankershim Boulevard, north of the Santa Ana (5) Freeway. Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to the scene, where they learned the victim was traveling north on Lankershim when he collided with a 36-year-old driver, who was traveling south on Lankershim, LAPD Officer Charles Miller told City News Service.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
