
A two-vehicle crash in the Reseda area Thursday left a man dead and two other people injured, one critically.
The crash occurred about 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the 19600 block of West Sherman Way, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, which reported that two people were trapped in the wreckage.

A man about 25 years old died at the scene, and a man about 40 years old was taken to a hospital in critical condition, the LAFD reported. Information on the fatally injured man's identity was not immediately available.
"One patient who tried to help extricate the victims prior to LAFD arrival is being transported with a non-life-threatening injury," an LAFD statement said.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
