A man was killed Monday morning when his car went off Malibu Canyon Road and plunged over a cliff.
The crash was reported at 12:20 a.m. on Malibu Canyon Road about a mile north of Pacific Coast Highway, said Lt. Adam Zeko of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.
The car was northbound when it rolled over, struck a utility pole and went over the embankment, Zeko said.
The man inside was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
An investigation was underway at the scene to determine what led to the crash, Zeko said.
