A notable Beverly Hills mansion with a storied history tracing back to the early 20th century is on the market.

According to Los Angeles Times, the mansion known as the Heart estate was built in 1927.

The home was designed by architect Gordon Kaufmann and is named after one of its early tenants, newspaper tycoon and politician William Randolph Hearst.

The mogul lived there after his partner, actress Marion Davies, purchased it in 1946.

The next decade, in 1953, President John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie honeymooned there.

More recently, the building's exterior has been featured in films such as “The Godfather” and “The Bodyguard.” It was also used in Beyoncé's "Black Is King" music video, reports USA Today.

If you’re in the Los Angeles area, you can purchase the Mediterranean-style home for $89.75 million. In 2016 the home was listed for $195 million. After accruing $50 million in debt, it's being forced into sale at the new price by a bankruptcy court.

“There’s so many rooms that are world-class,” Gary Gold of Hilton & Hyland Real Estate said. Gold is one of three realtors selling the house, alongside Anthony Marguleas of Amalfi Estates and Zizi Pak of Rodeo Realty.

While looking at the home, the main house and two guest apartments are on 3.5 acres of land. The main house consists of eight bedrooms and 15 bathrooms. Other features include:

• A library
• Two screening rooms
• Entertaining areas that can accommodate 1,000 guests
• An art deco nightclub

Additional features include a pool house, an Olympic-size swimming pool, terraces, a gatehouse, and fountains.

“This is a rare and prestigious opportunity to acquire one of the 10 most iconic homes in L.A. which you rarely see come available. This property now has a motivated seller and is priced to sell,” Marguleas said.
