Marvel crew member dies on set of 'Wonder Man' in Studio City

A Marvel spokesperson has confirmed the accidental death of a crew member working at Radford Studios in Studio City Tuesday morning after falling from the rafters.

Juan Carlos Osorio of Temple City, died at the scene, according
to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. He was 41.


Osorio was part of the rigging team on the set of Marvel Studios' upcoming TV series 'Wonder Man.'

The studio's spokesperson told The L.A. Times, "Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and friends, and our support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this accident."

The series starring Yahya Abdula-Mateen II was not filming at the time of the accident but is set to begin production in March after the studio was forced to delay due to the WGA and SAG AFTRA strikes.
