LA Mayor Eric Garcetti got quite emotional as he pleaded with people to stop socializing and stay home for the holiday.
Garcetti also has unveiled a new interactive map to provide Angelenos will real time information about infection rates and deaths.

It makes it easier than ever for residents to be able to track the virus and to make testing appointments as well,'' Garcetti said.
Garcetti is trying to get the message across to the people who still hang out with friends or family from other households. He says he’s not just worried about hospitalizations, but also deaths. Adding the the city may lose more Angelinos in a month from COVID than we would from a decade of homicides.
