Metro's E Line service was disrupted during Friday's morning rush when a train crashed into a car making an alleged illegal turn.
The crash occurred about 7:20 a.m. Friday at Raymond Avenue near Expo Park, Metro spokesman Jose Ubaldo told City News Service.

The car made an illegal turn in front of the westbound train, Ubaldo said. The driver was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
There were no reports of injuries aboard the train and all passengers were safely evacuated, Ubaldo said.
Service resumed with all trains sharing a single track through the area while the investigation continued, he said.
The E Line runs east-west and stops at 29 stations between East Los Angeles and Santa Monica.
