Authorities sought the public's assistance Tuesday in locating a 56-year-old man who suffers from unspecified medical issues requiring medication and who went missing in the Compton area.

Gregory Davenport was last seen around 3:45 a.m. March 15 in the 15800 block of South Frailey Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies described Davenport as a 5-foot-8-inch tall Black man weighing 160 pounds with a bald head and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark green parka.
