A motorist was injured Tuesday in a collision at a freeway exit ramp in Riverside involving another car whose driver fled the scene.
The hit-and-run crash occurred at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday on the southbound Interstate 215 off-ramp for Columbia Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The agency said the driver of a sedan impacted another vehicle while exiting the freeway, causing the sedan to plow through a guardrail and knock down several signs.
The other motorist sped away. A description of the vehicle was not immediately available.
Riverside Fire Department personnel reached the location within a few minutes and found the victim with unspecified minor to moderate injuries.
The party was taken to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment.
Caltrans was notified regarding damage to the off-ramp, which remained open.
CHP officers were searching for the other driver.
