Police in Santa Monica are looking into a report of a mountain lion sighting.
Officers say someone reported seeing the big cat around 14th St. and Montana Ave. on Friday.
Police say until they give the all-clear, it's best that residents stay indoors and keep pets inside.
Anyone who sees the animal is urged to get to a safe place and call 911.
