PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN IN CONCERT
Captain Jack Sparrow is heading to Long Beach, with a live orchestra along for the ride.
"Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" will play on the big screen outdoors while the Long Beach Symphony performs the movie's score live and in sync with the film.
The concert begins at 8 p.m. at the new F&M Bank Amphitheater.

CELEBRATING GUSTAVO AT THE BOWL: BEETHOVEN 9
The Hollywood Bowl is celebrating Gustavo Dudamel and his 17 years as Music and Artistic Director of the LA Phil.
The LA Phil and YOLA perform Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, including its famous "Ode to Joy."
The evening also includes the world premiere of a piece by composer Michael Giacchino.

Sunset Comedy takes over the Redondo Beach Historic Library Thursday with a cocktail hour overlooking the Pacific followed by a comedy show inside the historic Grand Hall.
Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m., just in time to catch the sunset, with the comedy show beginning at 8.
