
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KNX) — Officers arrested two men and seized nearly $1 million dollars worth of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine Tuesday, according to the Huntington Police Department.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation – launched in October – into a Mexico-based drug trafficking organization.
The two men, ages 21 and 29, were arrested in Bell. Authorities said one of suspects had 20 pounds of meth on his person when they cuffed him. A search warrant police obtained led them to find more drugs and guns, they said.
In all, investigators collected 317 pounds of methamphetamine, 17 kilos of cocaine, and fentanyl and two handguns, City News Service reported.
Huntington police have not identified the two suspects.
Their investigation is ongoing.
