LOS ANGELES (KNX) — An exhibit in Santa Monica honoring the late Princess Diana is slated to open Wednesday.
The “Princess Diana Exhibition: Accredited Access” gives the public an in depth look into the “people’s princess” through the eyes of Anwar Hussein, a photographer for the royals and Diana’s friend.
The exhibit, located at Santa Monica Place, will include never-before-seen photographs of Diana, narration by Hussein, and art installations created by sculptor Pauline Loctin, according to the exhibit’s website.
“There is a difference between a celebrity and an icon, and the humanitarianism, she didn’t have a PR agency moving around telling her do things, she was out there trying to change the world, make it a better place,” Curator Cliff Skeilliter said to CBS LA.
Tickets for adults start at $25. Proof of vaccination is required for entry and guests will have to wear masks inside.
