O.C. gun store burglarized, 40 weapons stolen

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (KNX) — Burglars broke into a firearm retail shop in Orange County late Wednesday night, making off with more than 40 weapons, according to police.

Garden Grove police responded to a call of break-in at approximately 12:15 a.m. Thursday at Whitten Sales, located at 12821 Valley View Street. Upon arriving, officers saw the glass of the front door had been shattered.

Surveillance footage showed at least once suspect inside the store. A group of suspects drove away from the scene in two vehicles prior to police arriving on the scene. The cars were described as one blue and one silver BMW.
