A 54-year-old Lake Forest man was arrested after a video surfaced allegedly showing him yelling racist and hateful insults at a woman working at a local business last Friday.

In the video, a man identified by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department as Eric Walter Ramminger is seen pounding on the shop’s window, shouting slurs, and threatening the woman, telling her he'd “blast her face off.”
The woman tried to push him out the door. The man then swung at her, but she quickly ducked and hit back.
One Instagram user said it took police hours to respond to the incident, but the O.C. Sheriff’s Department claims deputies arrived in “less than 30 minutes.”
“With the information provided to dispatch, the call was assigned as a low-priority call,” the department said in a Facebook post.
Ramminger was later identified as the suspect and arrested Wednesday on multiple charges, including assault, trespassing, and hate crimes.
