LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Following his first Super Bowl win with the Los Angeles Rams, Odell Beckham Jr. is also celebrating another major first — becoming a father.
The wide receiver announced the birth of his first child with girlfriend Lauren Wood in an Instagram post Wednesday.
Beckham said their baby, whom they named Zydn, was born last Thursday, just a few days after the Rams' big win over the Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium.
"2-17-22, 0605. THE biggest blessing I've ever had in my life arrived here on earth! The words, I can't even put together for the overwhelming emotions that ran thru me … a moment I will never forget and cherish forever," Beckham said in the post, which showed him lying with Wood while they held their newborn. "Zydn was born n at that moment I knew my life changed for the better. Lauren Wood, u changed my life forever and delivered the most beautiful gift of all… EFFORTLESSLY! Ur strength throughout this gives me the courage to keep goin because i now kno with u by my side and holding it down for me, I can get thru anything. I love u so much."
Beckham also announced he underwent successful surgery on Tuesday to repair his ACL, which he tore during the Super Bowl game.
