An oil spill prompted the closure of all lanes on the northbound 710 Freeway in Long Beach on Thursday morning.
At 4:54 a.m., the California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert for the closure of all lanes of the northbound 710 Freeway near the Del Amo Boulevard exit; however, an updated SigAlert issued at 6:18 a.m. reported that all lanes would be blocked for another two hours.
The SigAlert was cancelled just before 10 a.m. All lanes have reopened.
