PACOIMA (CNS) - A 73-year-old man killed in a fatal hit-and-run collision in Pacoima was identified Monday by the Los Angeles County of Department Medical Examiner.
The collision occurred about 8:40 p.m. on Aug. 9 when a blue or green Ford Explorer SUV traveling near Norris Avenue and Polk Street collided with the man crossing south of Polk Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The vehicle didn't stop.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived at the location and transported Los Angeles resident Perfecto Delgado Garcia to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
