The driver of a white Toyota pickup died Sunday night after a collision sent his car into the wall of a Pacoima home.
The driver, a 45-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are withholding the driver’s name until his next of kin is notified.
When the driver of the white Toyota was making a right turn, his car was struck by a red Dodge Charger traveling down Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
Police said the driver of the Dodge, Alison Villanueva, 21, was driving under the influence with three passengers in the car.
When the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the crash, Villanueva and the three passengers were transported to local hospitals with “moderate injuries,” according to officials.
Villanueva will be arrested for Felony Child Endangerment and DUI after she is released from the hospital, police said.
