Police in Pasadena are looking for half a dozen men who broke into a high-end cycling shop Tuesday night and stole an estimated $100,000 in bikes.
The manager at Velo Pasadena, Mathew Gavrikian, said the eight stolen bikes were in for repairs, but they aren't your typical bicycles. They are highly specialized - used for roadwork, triathlon competitions, and mountain biking.

"They came in not knowing anything," Gavrikian told KNX News' Pete Demetriou. "I think they just came, grabbed whatever was in front of them... It was in and out in 45 seconds."
Gavrikian said selling that kind of stolen merchandise may not be so straightforward. The bikes would be easily identifiable by experienced cyclists and have serial numbers.
Police are reviewing video evidence and have recovered physical evidence left at the scene that could help them ID the burglars. In the meantime, Velo Pasadena will be upping its security.
This is the third burglary at the store located at 2562 Colorado Boulevard in the last three months.
