Police were seeking public assistance Thursday in locating a man who groped a teenage girl near a Metro station in Pasadena.

According to Pasadena police, the girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man in the 300 block of North Lake Avenue around 7:25 a.m. Wednesday while she was sitting on a bench. The suspect fled the area on a bicycle, heading south on Lake Avenue.

Police said the girl boarded a bus moments later, heading to school, where she reported the attack to staff, who then contacted Pasadena police.
Although there was no detailed description of the suspect, ABC7 reported that he was last seen wearing a long-sleeve jacket and black sweatpants.
