Pasadena residents 50+ can now sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine – but may not get appointments

Wednesday, officials in Pasadena announced that residents 50 years old and up are now eligible for the COVID -19 vaccine; and are eligible to fill out the city’s online vaccine inquiry form -- but none of that equals an actual vaccine appointment.

Residents are encouraged to fill out the inquiry form, so they can be notified when vaccine supplies are available: https://healthforms.cityofpasadena.net/v/SevereHealthVaccine

All health care workers, first responders, residents over 65, long-term care facility residents, teachers, and food and agriculture workers have already been declared eligible to fill out the form.

More than 49,900 Pasadenans over the age of 16, amounting to 42.4% of the city’s population, have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, officials said Wednesday.

Where can I get the vaccine?

Pasadena residents should contact their healthcare provider or local pharmacy for vaccine availability.
