On Saturday, the city of Pasadena will host its first-ever Armenian festival.
The festival will be at Victory Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is free to attend. It’s being put on by a coalition of about 30 groups, including non-profits, private schools, and churches.
Organizer Karine Doctorian told KNX News’ Nataly the goal is to share Armenian culture with the community.
“We just want to share our love for our people, our language, our art,” she said.
Doctorian added that there will be more than 54 vendors who will serve a variety of dishes including kebabs, gatas, and ice cream churros. There

There will also be Armenian vendor booths featuring artwork, jewelry, and crafts. The festival will also feature multiple performances, including a performance by Element Instrumental Quartet.
