NORTHRIDGE (CNS) - A man who was struck and killed by a Metrolink train in Northridge was identified Thursday.
Paramedics sent to the 8900 block of Corbin Avenue around 6:05 p.m. Wednesday pronounced the man dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

On Thursday, he was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Michael Gershon, 37, who was homeless.
The circumstances of the death were under investigation.
