A man died after he was struck by a vehicle in Long Beach, authorities said Monday.

The crash occurred at about 9 p.m. Sunday at Pacific Coast Highway and Santa Fe Avenue, according to Long Beach Police Department Lt. Brian Fritz.
Long Beach Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, Fritz said.
An investigation was underway, he said.
