WESTMINSTER (CNS) - A person of interest has been in arrested in the homicide of a man who was killed in Westminster, police said Sunday.
Officers were summoned at about 5:45 a.m. Saturday to the 9200 block of Bolsa Avenue regarding a man down and found the victim bleeding from the head, according to the Westminster Police Department.
The Orange County Fire Authority also arrived at the scene, and the man was pronounced dead. The source of the man's injuries was not disclosed.
The suspect was described as a man between 35 and 45 years old, between 5-feet-8 and 5-feet-10 inches tall with a medium build. He was believed to have fled the scene on foot.
A watch commander at the Westminster Police Department would only report to City News Service that a "person of interest" has been arrested, disclosing no further information.
