
A Lancaster-bound Metrolink train fatally struck a person Tuesday in the Glendale area.
AV Line Train 209 hit the person about 10 a.m. near San Fernando Road and Brazil Street, between the Glendale and Burbank-Downtown stations, according to Metrolink.

About 125 passengers were aboard the train at the time, and no injuries were reported, according to Metrolink.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally injured person, who died at the scene.
