A person was stabbed inside the lobby of a Los Angeles Police Department station in downtown LA on Friday morning, police said.

The stabbing was reported at 10:15 a.m. at the LAPD Central Community Police Station which is located at 251 East 6th Street, according to police, and an ambulance was called to the scene.
The station is in the Skid Row area of downtown LA.
As of 10:30 a.m., LAPD has not released details about the person's condition or any circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
No other details have been released as police investigate.
