Pink’s Hot Dogs has turned Dodger blue to celebrate the team making it to the World Series.

“We painted the front, we painted the floors, we painted everything to recognize the Dodgers made it to the World Series,” co-owner Richard Pink told KNX News’ Jon Baird. “We are so proud to support the Dodgers.”

This isn’t the first time the famous Los Angeles eatery has turned blue to support the home team.

“This is the fourth time in Pink's 85-year history that we have turned blue - Dodger Blue - because we did it in 2017.  We did in 2018, we did in 2020,” Pink said.

He added that there is also a new item on the menu for Dodgers fans to enjoy.

“We also created a blues dog which is a hot dog topped with mustard onions, chili cheese tomatoes and we're selling that blues dog for $7.17,” he said. “All the profits are going to the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation with a minimum contribution of $2500.”

The price of the blues dog represents the number of times the Dodgers have won the World Series as well as Shohei Ohtani’s number.

He added that there is a memorial honoring legend Fernando Valenzuela, who died Tuesday night.
