Police in Orange Monday were investigating a shooting that left a man wounded.

Police were called just before midnight Sunday about shots being fired in the 2700 block of North Villa Real Road, according to Lt. Mike Monjaraz of the Orange Police Department.
A short time later a resident said a man had been shot, Monjaraz said. The victim, a man in his 20s whose name was not released, was found in a driveway, where officers helped him until he was taken to a hospital, the lieutenant said.
The victim was hospitalized Monday and was expected to survive, Monjaraz said.
No further details were immediately released.
