LAPD

Police are searching for a man accused of kidnapping two young girls in the North Hills area.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, on March 15th, the man was driving a dark green older Honda Civic when he offered a ride to two girls who were walking near Sepulveda Blvd. and Nordhoff St.

The girls declined, but he continued to follow them. When the girls eventually did get into his car, the suspect drove past the route. When he parked the car, he locked the door.

“The suspect then made lewd requests toward the victims, at which point they began screaming for help,” officers said. “As the victims attempted to escape, the suspect began to drive away. Both victims exited the vehicle and fell onto the roadway, sustaining minor injuries.”

Police described the suspect as being between 21 and 23 years old.
