Sheriff’s deputies seek public’s help in locating disabled West Hollywood woman reported missing

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KNX) — Los Angeles County law enforcement officials were asking for the public’s assistance Monday in the search for a woman reported missing from West Hollywood Sunday evening.

Dalia Taqali, 30, was last seen at around 5 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Genesee Avenue, according to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, headed in the direction of Sunset Boulevard and North Curson Avenue.


Taqali was reported to be “developmentally disabled” and suffering from “dissociative identity disorder,” according to a department news release.

She was described as standing five feet and six inches in height, weighing around 110 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with blue stud earrings in both ears, sporting a green backpack and black purse. She has a scar on her abdominal area and is missing a front tooth, according to authorities.

Taqali’s family is concerned for her wellbeing and has asked anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department at (323) 890-5500. Tipsters wishing to remain anonymous can contact L.A. Area Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
