Detectives are looking for more possible teenage victims of an accused child predator from Pomona.
Investigators say 26-year-old Damien Gieng used Instagram and Snapchat to knowingly befriend teenage girls.
Gloria Huerta is a spokesperson for the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. She told KNX News' Emily Valdez "Last week on Tuesday [May 21], our deputies in Chino Hills began an investigation of claims of inappropriate sexual behavior between a man and a 16-year-old female."
Through the investigation, it became apparent that the 'relationship' began on social media, and Gieng was aware before meeting in person that the female was a minor.
Huerta says undercover officers posed as a teenage girl online, arranged a meeting with Gieng on Thursday, May 30, and then arrested him when he showed up to meet what he thought was another underage girl.
According to a press release from the SBSD Chino Hills Police Department, after Gieng's arrest, a second juvenile victim was identified and interviewed by detectives.
Gieng is currently in jail with bail set at half a million dollars for charges including:
P.C. 287(b)(1) - Oral copulation with a victim under 18 years of age
P.C. 289(h) - Sexual penetration with a victim under 18 years of age
P.C. 288.3(a) - Contacting a minor with intent to commit a sexual offense

P.C. 311.11(a) - Possession of obscene matter
