Dozens of pro-choice supporters gathered for a rally in downtown Los Angeles Monday on the second anniversary of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.

Emiliana Guereca, the founder of Women's March Foundation and the organizer of the rally, told KNX News’ Emily Valdez that while we’re safe in California, there are 20 states with restrictive abortion laws.

“We are also giving other states hope that it can happen in their state, that we can continue to fight to make sure that when abortion is on the ballot, that we make sure that we go out to vote so that it is in their state's constitution,” Guereca said.

One in three women live in a state where there is some form of a ban or restriction on their access to abortion care.

There are also concerns some lawmakers will go after in vitro fertilization and birth control.
