The call of a possible shooting came out at 10 a.m. Friday in the 12000 block of Oxnard Street, near Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Grant High School, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Investigators were told an intruder entered the home and that someone living there fired on the suspect, who fled.
It was not immediately clear if that individual, described as a man wearing all-black clothing, was hit.
