Authorities targeted properties in West Covina, at the eastern edge of Los Angeles County, as well as Homeland, just west of Hemet.
"The cooperative effort led to the seizure of 4,038 pounds of methamphetamine," according to a sheriff's statement.
No suspects were immediately identified in connection with the illicit drugs.
However, the investigation was ongoing Friday, and the sheriff's department declined to disclose any further details.
