Los Angeles Police Department officers responded just before 11 p.m. Thursday regarding reports of a traffic collision at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, where arriving police found several vehicles had crashed into the side of the business, which also has apartments on top of the building, NBC 4 reported.
Video from the scene showed debris from the crash in the street and along the nearby sidewalk and workers from the restaurant supply business installing temporary windows early Friday morning.
Two people were taken to a hospital in unknown conditions by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
NBC 4 reported a San Bernardino County deputy and a K-9 were not injured in the crash, and it was not immediately known why the patrol car was in the area.
