The Santa Monica ice rink is officially open for the season.
The outdoor rink launched its “soft opening” Wednesday, but there will be a grand opening on Nov. 9 for people to celebrate the start of ice skating season.
“Come on down and join us for free skating. We’ll have some DJ, we’re just going to have a party,” Jeremy Ferguson, who is with Downtown Santa Monica, said.
The rink is located on Fifth Street and Arizona Avenue, and opens at 11:30 a.m. every day.
The rink is up and running until Jan. 15, 2024.
