A shooting involving one or more sheriff's deputies was reported Friday in the Pearblossom area southeast of Palmdale, authorities said.
Deputies were sent to the 13000 block of Pearblossom Highway on a "call for service" about 6:45 a.m., and the shooting occurred, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Paramedics took a person to a hospital in unknown condition, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
It was unclear if the person had been wounded, and other details were not immediately released by authorities.
