Football fans are in for a savory treat when they go to SoFi Stadium this season. The stadium partnered with award-winning chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo for its culinary program known as LA Eats.

Concession stand menus are named after local streets: Fairfax, Sawtelle, San Vicente and Olvera.

“The idea of the street names is just the community of LA and bringing that community here to LA eats,” said Snook.

Over at Fairfax, you’ll find the burgers and deli. At Olvera Street, there’s nachos and a beef barbacoa burrito. Sawtelle boasts a kicked up crispy chicken sandwich and tsunami tots that are to die for. Pop over to San Vicente for pizza or a Stromboli dog.

Shook and Dotolo are behind some of LA’s most iconic restaurants, so all of the stadium favorites with a creative local flair.

But what are the must tries? For Dotolo, it’s the Stromboli dog.

“It’s a stromboli and a hot dog put together. It’s a very Frankenstein thing, but it’s so good,” said Dotolo.

Shook recommended the tsunami tots. “[The tots are] easy to eat when you’re sitting at your stand,” says Shook. They “work great with beer.”

The team worked with the SoFi Stadium team to make stadium food that was up to their chef standards.

“We really kind of worked with them to locate what we think is the highest quality product," said Shook.

Dotolo learned from the collaboration, too. "The experience was eye-opening. Learning about how much food needs to be produced for something like this,” he said.

Dotolo and Shook did a lot of testing during the menu development phase.

“There were painful moments where we were eating so much of trying and tasting and sampling,” said Dotolo.

Fans will get their chance to dive into this deliciousness in September when the Rams take on the Bears.
