This weekend, Southern California’s Ukrainian community will mark the three-year anniversary of Russia invading Ukraine.

The first event on Saturday in Dana Point will be a fundraiser called Three Years of Courage and proceeds are going to help soldiers and refugees.

“[It’s a] gathering of not only just Ukrainians, but obviously every everyone is welcome to join,” German Simakovski with Go Ukraina told KNX News’ Emily Valdez. “Whoever would like to show their support for Ukraine or knows any Ukrainians or wants to come out and join or be a part of supporting the community [is welcome.]”
