Hundreds of truckloads of dirt are being laid down this week at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood in preparation for the Monster Jam World Finals.
“This is the biggest event that we have all year,” Scott Olinski, Monster Jam’s director of stadium operations, told KNX News’ Jon Baird. “So we put a lot of time and effort into this and we're super pumped to be here at SoFi Stadium with Monster Jam World Finals.”
The preparation for this event starts with protecting the field and bringing in about 600 truckloads of dirt. Olinski said hauling the dirt out of the stadium is easier than bringing it in.
Barring any setbacks, the turf at SoFi Stadium will be back in pristine condition by Monday.
