A man who was sentenced to five years in state prison for multiple attacks on Southern California motorists may be set free at the end of the month.

Nathaniel Radimak was convicted of assaulting eight people in road rage incidents between 2022 and 2023. Since he was awarded credit for 242 days he spent in county jail awaiting trial, he may be eligible for early release in late August after spending a little more than a year in prison.

One of Radimak’s victims, who wishes to remain anonymous, told KNX News’ Pete Demetriou she’s outraged that he might be released.

“How do we have faith in our justice system when somebody's repeating these offenses and then they're getting let out and you put the public at risk?” she said.

“We're just hopeful that whatever time that was served for these unprovoked attacks, that those months behind bars have taught him a lesson and he would refrain, have some self control out on the streets,” she added.

Corrections officials said they couldn’t comment on any pending release date, citing “safety and security concerns.”
