On Wednesday, reality TV star Spencer Pratt announced his candidacy for Los Angeles mayor.

Pratt, who appeared on MTV’s “The Hills,” made the announcement during the “They Let Us Burn Rally” in the Pacific Palisades.

According to City News Service, the 42-year-old told the crowd that he’s done waiting for someone to take “real action” and that “L.A. is going to be camera-ready again.”

Pratt, who is married to Hills alum Heidi Montag, lost his home in the Palisades Fire and has been a vocal critic of Gov. Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass and their handling of the fires.
