LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Halftime magic doesn't happen by itself, that's why Super Bowl LVI organizers are hurrying to hire hundreds of field crew members dedicated to supporting the Pepsi Halftime Show.
"We are looking for approximately 500 field team members to assist with the performance stage and scenic elements setup for the Super Bowl LVI show at SoFi stadium," field team managers Bryan Ransom and Holly Silber said Thursday, adding that the crew will be responsible for assembling the stage and elements for performances by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary j. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.

The paid position involves moving and assembling the rolling stage carts onto and off of the field for the show and requires commitment to rehearsals from Jan. 26 to Feb. 11 in addition to working Feb. 13, to make the show happen.
Applicants must be vaccinated for COVID-19, able to attend all rehearsal dates and be able to push, pull, bend and lift up to 50 pounds, according to the application.
Ransom and Silber made clear that being hired as part of the field team does not allow employees to watch Super Bowl LVI.
